GRADED WHITE
- Our honey is graded white, which is the highest grade available. It is light colored and low in water content, which is a characteristic of exceptionally high quality honey.
RAW
- Glacier Grown honey is raw, pure, and only gravitationally strained to remove impurities - it is still full of the pollens and enzymes that the bees collect. Nothing is added to the honey, and it is only heated to the temperature that the bees keep their hives.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
- All of these healthy, happy bees are raised in the pristine St. Mary’s River Valley near the Montana/ Canada border right at the edge of Glacier National Park, where there is absolutely no chemical spraying of pesticides or herbicides for miles around. The bees stay here year round, while most big producers go to California to pollinate almonds in the winter where they're exposed to large amounts of chemicals/ diseases. There’s no better place for bees to live and thrive.
MITICIDE FREE
- Every beekeeper in the US has parasitic mites affecting their bees, and keepers have to treat them or the bees die. Only organic substances are used to treat the bees that produce Glacier Grown honey - no harsh chemicals. These organic products are more expensive and require more work, but they're worth it for the health of the bees and the quality of honey that they produce.
