Discounted Beef Quarters and Halves

Karen Dunham • Apr 01, 2019

We over-harvested and need to clear our beef inventory

We totally over harvested this fall and, in order to clear our freezers for the spring harvest, we are offering our remaining beef quarters and/or beef halves at a discount. These shares were harvested in October & November and have been in a deep freeze that is rarely opened. These beef, like all Glacier Grown animals, are totally grass fed and grass finished. They were free ranged on thousands of acres on the Eastern Front of the Rockies where, due to our short growing season and abundant ground and surface water, the grass is better than anywhere else in the country - no kidding (more on that later). Raised without the use of pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, or chemicals, these cattle are fed unsprayed, indigenous grass hay during the winter months when there is snow on the ground, while still eating dormant grass when the snow blows away (the Eastern Front is WINDY!). Prices are as follows and shipping is included. Please contact us with questions or to order. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR FRIENDS.

Quarters - $6.15/lb hanging weight (that’s $.55/lb off). We have a 215.5 and a 223 lb hanging weight available. Processing is included in the price. Here is an example: 215.5 lbs hanging weight @ $6.15/lb = $ 1325.33. You will get approximately 145 lbs of meat in the freezer making it $9.14/lb. (that’s about $1.04/lb off the regular price per pound for meat in your freezer)

Half – 435 lbs hanging weight @ $6.05/lb = $2631.75. You will get approximately 295 lbs of meat in the freezer, making it approximately $8.92/lb (that’s about $1.04/lb off the regular price per pound for meat in your freezer)

DISCOUNT WILL BE REFLECTED IN YOUR FINAL INVOICE.

We also have 1 beef grilling bundle and 1 order of shanks available: Beef Grilling #1 - 19.4 lbs - $376.77 ($25 off. regular price - $401.77) 2 packs T-Bones, 2 pack Rib Steaks, 2 packs Sirloin Steaks, 1 Skirt Steak, 5 packs Ground Beef

If you are interested, you can place your deposit at www.glaciergrown.com or contact Karen at kriggsy@gmail.com or 406-407-2803 . PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS. These prices arejust for these remaining beef shares. We will start taking orders for the spring harvest/June shipments in April.

It's been a while since we've been in touch. The last 6 months have been a wild and woolly ride over at the Dunham household, but we've finally come up for air. We hope that you and yours enjoyed a lovely holiday season and that you have headed into the New Year full of hope and enthusiasm. Those of you who have been with us for years, undoubtedly, see a different group of people in the above photo than when we made deliveries to Southern California in the past. All of those previously little people have grown up - the baby started college this past year, and the oldest has a baby of his own. All in the blink of an eye. We wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you - we appreciate you and your continued support. It is a privilege to provide the very best 100% grass fed, grass finished, pasture raised, chemical-free, humanely raised meats that our northwest corner has to offer. If you are looking to stock your freezer for the next few months, before spring deliveries begin (we will start taking orders in March and deliveries will start in late May/early June), we still have some items remaining from the Fall Harvest ready to ship.
